This fascinating kalanchoe is also known as the Donkey Ear! Their broad, speckled leaves have wavy edges and small growths on the tips. The leafy tips are actually smaller kalanchoe plants, which you can keep attached or separate to propagate!
Climate - Native to Madagascar and Tropical regions of Africa
Light - Bright indirect preferred, but can withstand limited hours of direct
Soil - Well-draining , sandy soil. Can use cacti/succulent blend
Water - Drought tolerant. Water every 2 weeks indoors during growing season, can be watered slightly more while in bloom. Keep water off leaves to prevent rot.
Humidity - Prefers dry environment.
Temperature - Prefers warm environment
Fertilizer - Prefers added compost to fertilizing
